I am a storyteller.
My passion for visual storytelling is rooted in my many years as a photojournalist. I now use that perspective to inform my creation of authentic, impactful and evocative images for commercial, advertising and editorial clients.
I love fascinating challenges whether it's for a real estate developer wanting to capture the essence of a community or a communications company wanting to show how their technology impacts people's everyday lives or a magazine wanting to highlight people living their lives with grace and dignity, no matter the hurdles in front of, or behind, them.
In addition to my two decades of photography experience, I have been an entrepreneur where I drove the business operations of the early stages of a family enterprise. I worked through the early years to set it up for its now rapid growth. This experience allows me to appreciate, first hand, the client position when they have a lot riding on each shoot.
New York City born. Texas raised. Philadelphia converted and settled, working local to Philly and Dallas.
Right Brain. evocative. spontaneous. genuine. impactful.
I have a passion for authentic images that create connections to people, places and things.
Left Brain. collaborative. focused. relevant. strategic.
I respect the serious role of visual content for clients and I ensure expectations are exceeded and that shoots run well, communication is constant and emails are nearly always grammatically correct.

What They Say.
WOW! We are so impressed and want to hire you for every client :)))) You nailed it in every way: the people, the place, the fresh attitude.
– Amy Levi, President/Creative Director. STRADA
This brand has life because of your photography.
– Katie Mae Ward, Senior Account Manager. STRADA
You were able to capture a great assortment of seriousness and lightheartedness, which speaks directly to who they are and what we hope to represent through their new branding and website. Other law firms in their space (and beyond) are going to be envious when they see this photography.
– Taylor Wenner, Art Director. BRIAN COMMUNICATIONS
Your photography went such a long way in telling this very sensitive, compassionate story about what it means to be a social worker, and particularly what it means to be a social worker who is educated at Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. It was a pleasure for Kismet Communications to partner with you.
– Rachel Beanland, APR, Principal. KISMET COMMUNICATIONS
I want to thank you for going the extra mile to capture the small town feel. Most photographers would have blown it off when circumstances did not present themselves.
– Jean Herr, Photography Editor, PACE Communications for Verizon Mobile
