New York City born. Texas raised. Philadelphia converted and settled.
I've sustained my passion for visual storytelling for two-decades thanks to a fearless and get-it-done attitude. In addition to being a photojournalist and commercial and advertising photographer, I am also a founder and board member of Tideline Marine Group, San Francisco Bay's premier and most innovative water transportation ferry service. I worked on business, fundraising and marketing strategy initiatives in addition to day-to-day business operations - hello start-up! These combined experiences give me relevant insight into appreciating a client's priorities of managing projects efficiently with a focus on producing work with the greatest impact. I apply the principles of design thinking - informed by the rigor of a background in journalism - into my process of visual problem solving to arrive at thoughtful, creative and on-message images.
Right Brain. evocative. spontaneous. genuine. impactful.
An oversized passion for real and impactful moments that create connections to people, places and things.

A this ain't no party, this ain't no disco attitude for taking the role that visual content holds for clients seriously to ensure expectations are exceeded and new possibilities achieved.
Do Love. Caroline, Ari and Margot. Anything made with heart and soul. Time on a bike or in a tent. Innovation. Problem Solving.
Don't Love. Serious Roller Coasters (I'll do the kiddie ones). Too much order. Wasting time. Disrespect.

What They Say.
WOW! We are so impressed and want to hire you for every client :)))) You nailed it in every way: the people, the place, the fresh attitude.
– Amy Levi, President/Creative Director. STRADA
This brand has life because of your photography.
– Katie Mae Ward, Senior Account Manager. STRADA
You were able to capture a great assortment of seriousness and lightheartedness, which speaks directly to who they are and what we hope to represent through their new branding and website. Other law firms in their space (and beyond) are going to be envious when they see this photography.
– Taylor Wenner, Art Director. BRIAN COMMUNICATIONS
Your photography went such a long way in telling this very sensitive, compassionate story about what it means to be a social worker, and particularly what it means to be a social worker who is educated at Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. It was a pleasure for Kismet Communications to partner with you.
– Rachel Beanland, APR, Principal. KISMET COMMUNICATIONS
I want to thank you for going the extra mile to capture the small town feel. Most photographers would have blown it off when circumstances did not present themselves.
– Jean Herr, Photography Editor, PACE Communications for Verizon Mobile
